Fall Lookbook 2012

Fall is one of my favorite seasons of the year! I love getting to play with all my fun sweaters, jackets, scarves, and boots, boots, BOOTS! For this special post, I have raided my closet and put together a few fall looks that include pieces everyone should have in their wardrobe, a lookbook of sorts. I hope you enjoy the post and can draw inspiration from it for creating your own fall looks!

Look 1:

{Sweater: Old Navy, Tank: West Seal, Pants: Ross, Boots: DSW, Necklace: F21}

This first look is one I put together after I bought this off white sweater at Old Navy.  Big baggy sweaters are all the rage this winter season and even though this one is a bit more fitted, I still adore it!  I love the earth tones in this outfit and decided these dark brown over the knee boots would top it off just right.

Look 2:

{Sweater: F21, Pants: Burlington, Boots: Platos Closet, Necklace: F21}

This rustic colored off the shoulder sweater is one of my favorites! I alllllmost walked past it at forever21 but decided to pick it up and try it out, and boy am I glad I did. I love the color, how it hangs off the shoulder, and its thickness. It's heavy enough to keep me warm but the 3/4 sleeves dont suffocate me. I paired it with faded blue jeans and cognac colored ankle boots for the perfect fall outfit for spending the day shopping or having lunch with friends!

Look 3:

{Cardigan: F21, Tank: Wet Seal, Jeans: Hollister, Boots: Charlotte Rouse, Belt: Old, Scarf: Charlotte Rouse}

This is an outfit that anyone could put together. I chose to layer a cardigan over a simple tank and belt it in the middle to help keep my waistline visible.  Every girl has a cardigan/sweater that can be thrown over a nice tank top to layer for winter, but if not I suggest investing in a few good pieces because cardigans can go from summer to winter and can be worn with almost anything. But that's another post all on its own. ;)

Look 4:

{Cardigan: Platos Closet, Tank: Wet Seal, Pants: Hollister, Boots: Charlotte Rouse, Belt: Old, Necklace: F21}

For this look I chose to follow the same dressing pattern as our last look but chose a colored cardigan that screams "fall is here!". As I mentioned earlier I love this orange-ish, rustic color for fall wear, so why not make another outfit with it? :)
Once again, don't forget to belt or tie off your middle in order to keep your waist line visible. You dont want to lose your girlie figure under neath all those wonderful layers!

Look 5:

{Cardigan/shirt/boots: Platos Closet, Jeans: Burlington, Necklace: Groopdealz.com}

This adorable navy bauble necklace is what inspired this whole outfit. I pulled it out trying to figure out what I could pair it with, and this is what I came up with! (You will rarely catch me with out a necklace on) The top is a cream boatneck shirt with gold stripes and I paired it with a navy cardigan, jeans, and cognac colored ankle boots. The only thing I would possibly add to this is a cognac colored belt...but I dont have one yet. Yet. ;)

Look 6:

Some Boot Love :)

{Plaid top: Platos Closet, Tank:Wet Seal, Pants: Ross, Belt: American Eagle, Boots: DSW, Necklace: F21}

How can you go wrong with plaid in winter time? You can't!  This last look is one I put together around my new over the knee boots I got for my birthday. (thanks babe!!! <3) As I was thinking about what to pair them with, this plaid top jumped out at me.  Colored skinny jeans, a belt, and a gold necklace was all I needed to make this outfit looked put together!

I hope you've enjoyed these six looks as much as I enjoyed putting them together for you! Whether it's for summer, winter, fall, or spring,  I want this blog to help you draw inspiration for putting together new outfits with what you already have in your closet.  Try new things! Play around with color and patterns you normally wouldn't! Fashion is supposed fun :)

If you have any questions feel free to leave me comments and I'll do my best to answer them!
How do you pair layers to make fab fall looks? :)
