Hello to all my lovelies!!!
I know I have been slacking on posts this week so this is me catching up!....kinda. I haven't been taking pictures like I should, sorrryyyyyy! As, I posted last time, friday was my birthday, and that was an awesome kick-start to my wonderful weekend. Ok, a quick summary of activities so I don't write you a book: Cake, Dinner, shopping, cake, more shopping, family came over, more cake, kayaking, and BBQing, and cake. Needless to say....I probably need to hit the treadmill!! Anyway, onto the past two outfits I actually took pictures of. I apologize in advance for the poor picture quality as these were all taken with my iphone.
{ Pants: A'gaci, Top: Ross, Shoes: Ross, Necklace: old}
This outfit is a simple one I wore to work this week. I was afraid the solid brown top would look a bit too uniform with the khaki pants so I added my favorite pair of snake skin heels, and viola!Much better! I actually just bought these pants this past weekend ( a birthday score!) and am still figuring out ways to style them. If you have any cute ideas please share!!! ;)
{Top: Target, Pants: American Eagle, Shoes: Dont remember where I got them but they're Steve Maddens, Necklace: Groopdealz.com}
I picked up this top at target about a month ago on the sales rack and just adore it!! It's the first item of clothing thats considered "color blocking" that I've bought because honestly, I havent made up my mind on if I really like the trend. Don't get me wrong, I love bright colors and wearing complimentarty colors together, just not sure if I want it all on the same shirt. But, while shopping around in target on that fateful day, I saw it on the sales rack and fell in love.
I feel the need to apologize again for the picture quality especially in the last picture but it was the only way I could show you the true color of the top. (its like a ninja turtle green!)
I decided to pair it with a navy bauble necklace to help tie in the bright blue on the back of the tank and kept my earrings very simple. (they're plain gold studs)
I really appreciate you all sticking with me this week even though I was slow to post! I promise I am back to normal and on routine! ( well...is anyone ever reallyyyyy normal? ha! jk)
Please leave me comments if you have any questions or if there's anything you would like to see!
