Hello my loves!

 

I"ve been super duper busy lately working on another project, so this blog has kind of taken a back seat to it. (This "project" will be a whoooole 'nother post all on it's own!)

 

 Here are a few of the out fits I've been wearing lately and I PROMISE to be better at snapping pics of what I wear! We all have those days that by the time you get home, your so exhausted from saving the world work, that taking a photo is last thing on your mind! I've been having more of those types of days than I care to admit.

 

P.S. I've done some shopping recently as well, so as soon as I get those pieces styled, I'll be writing a post on them. :)

It was mint to be..

Hello my loves!!

 

 

Today is all about the color "mint".

 

 

I bought these mint colored skinny jeans a while back and have been smitten ever since!! They are actually a little bit brighter than my camera gives them credit for so I was honestly a bit intimidated to wear them. But once I got to playing around with them and put this outfit together...I fell in love.  This is such the perfect transition color for spring and summer but goes well with over the knee boots and a long sleeve blouse for winter.

 

What about you ladies? Do you rock anything in mint?

Mother Nature is Bi-polar

Hello Loves!

 

Just a few quick snapshots of my outfit yesterday. Yes, yesterday.

I'm a bit behind.

 

 

The cold weather here has still been acting bi-polar so yesterday I wore a sweater while this past weekend I was in a t-shirt and sandals...darn that mother nature!!

Denim and Leopard

 

Today was a denim jacket kind of day! A little bit windy but not so cold that I needed a heavy jacket. I hope you all are having a wonderful week! Only two more days till the weekend! Yippee!

 

It's honestly been a while since I've sported a dress and when I saw this beauty hanging in my closet, I was sprung.  A light jacket, a cute necklace, and leopard heels...how can you go wrong? (unless you get caught in the rain...in a white dress...which might have happened before...maybe.)

The start of a new week usually begins with "groans" and "ugh's" and tired, sleepy eyes...(at least for me it is)...but not this time!! I actually have had tons of energy and a great week so far! (is there something in the water?)

 

 How about all of you ladies?? :)

 

This outfit was inspired by Kendi over at Kendieveryday.com...she pretty much rocks. As soon as I saw this top and how she styled it, I had to run out and buy it! I'm usually not a t-shirt wearing kinda gal, but I especially liked this one.  Its easy to dress up for work or down for a causal look, so its double awesome! It just so happened I had a triangle themed necklace as well...So it all just flowed together perfectly!

And they call the thing a rodeo...

As most of you have read in previous posts, I live in Texas. Ever heard of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo? Of coarse you have! (no? google it.)

Guess where I wweeennnnttt? :)

 

This is the ensonmble I decided to wear when we went exploring the rodeo and to see the Zack Brown Band play in concert.(They put on a great show BTW!!) Animals, shopping, cowboy boots and hats...it was a southern day if I've ever seen one and it was awesome!!

 

I kept what I wore very casual and comfy, didn't want to be too over the top. The rodeo requires a ton of walking and I didn't want to be in uncomfortable shoes or be pulling and tugging on clothes all night. I topped it off with a pretty bubble necklace and some cowboy boots and viola! Awesome-ness.

Work Look #4

 

 

Happy Friday my loves!!!

 

 

Today's outfit is more of a "casual friday" look but I love it! I actual got the inspiration for it off of a pin I saw on Pinterest. (story of my life) You really have no idea how many of my stories/projects/outfits start off with, "oh I saw this one pin on Pinterest and...".

 

Plus, who doesn't love a good pair of mint colored jeans?!?

 

 

You could also lose the jacket and turn this office look in to a great evening outfit! Dinner with the girls? Don't mind if I do. ;)
