Welcome to day three of the:

 Work Wear Series

 

As I mentioned before I'm taking this week to focus on looks that are office appropriate, with a little bit of fun mixed in there, too. I wanted to layer up due to all this crazy wind that has been blowing in for the last day or two. How do people in Chicago do it?? I'm freezing!!

 

This look was inspired by a neutral colored palette that I've seen all over Pinterest lately. Browns and creams are two very essential work attire colors and why not combine them into one outfit?!

Done and done.

Work Look #2

Today is our second day in our work wear series!

 

For todays look I went with a soft peach colored top and dark charcoal grey dress pants. (although the pictures make it look like they're brown!) 

 

Busy day today so this is gonna be a short and sweet one! Hope you all are having an amazing Tuesday!

Work Wear Look #1

Hello My Loves!

 

Did everyone have a good weekend? Mine could have only been better if it had been longer. ;)

 

This week I want to take the blog to a place it's never been before- to the office!! For the next five days I'm going to focus on cute looks that are work appropriate and good for most office settings. I've never done a series of posts that focus on any one particular subject but this seems like a good one to start with. Most people work for a living (if not- you. are. lucky.) and who couldn't use more inspiration for what to wear to the office?!

 

I'm getting the week started on a bright note. ;)

 

I don't know why I've never thought to put coal and navy together but I sure am glad I did because I love it. Even though it's still considered "winter time", I don't believe that has to mean solid, dark, drab colors 24/7. Bright colors and patterns have just as much a place in winter time as they do in the spring/summer!

The blog got a little face lift!

It's still not to the place I want it to be, but I'll get there one day! I'm learning as I go...any little bit of advice or help you all may have would be greatly appreciated! (leave me a comment) I know it's a dog eat dog world out there but i'm just trying to improve my little place here in blog land. :)

Cool colors..

 

Hello My Loves!!

 

Today on the blog I'm sporting cooler toned colors because it's been cold here recently! I know you're probably thinking "Umm duh, it's winter, of coarse it's cold!", but I live in Texas and even our winter still feels like summer most of the time!

 

I know the neckline on the undershirt looks veeeery A symmetrical, that's becuase the top is actually a "one shoulder" tank top that I decided to throw a cardigan over. I liked the purples and blues and greys, it's not a color combination I think I've ever really worn, so I figured, why not?!

 

These white slacks are some of my favorite dress pants, I love the length, fit, and style of them. It just so happens though that everytime I contemplate wearing them, it wants to rain.

That's my luck.

 

The silver capped toe heels I'm sporting are from Target, and I love love love them! Like, way more than I thought I would. And for some reason today, I had a ton of guys compliment me on them...kinda random but always appreciated!! Guess they have great taste, eh? ;)

Rustic Wear

 

Hello My Loves!

 

I know it's been quite a while since I've posted anything and I know I need to high-tail it and get back on the wagon!

 

 This is what I wore on Valentines day, or in or around it at some point. I've slept alot since then. Don't quote me on that. ;)

 

This rust color is one I've been loving for quite a while now. It's been great for fall and worked well into winter time also! I also dig it because my hair is strawberry blonde and fall colors seem to compliment it really well. 

 

Have you deteremined colors that go well with your hair/skin tones?
