Everyone having a good week so far?

 



I'm still digging the ability to rock sweaters and boots and as long as the weather will let me, you'll be seeing many, many, more!! I almost don't know what to do with myself for once this year actually getting to dig around on my "winter" side of the closet. Isn't it funny how you forget what winter clothes you have because, well, here in Texas, it's never below 90 degrees outside?

 (OK, I suppose all of you beauties that live up north have no clue what I mean, but my fellow Texans do!)

A week of winter..

Winter is here!

Well, at least this week it is.

 

After months of waiting I've finally gotten to sport some sweaters and boots! Now, as to how long this cold weather will last, who knows. But I'm enjoying it while it's here!

 

Layers were my friend today.

 The kind of friend that wraps you up and keeps you warm.

I usually don't wear brown and blue together but when I tried this outfit on, the blue gingham really seemed to pop. Awesome!

Hello My Lovelies!!

 

I hope everybody had a great halloween yesterday! I spent the evening taking my nieces and nephew trick-or-treating, but didn't dress up myself. (Blasphemy, I know!) Theres something magical about seeing a mass of excited little kids eagerly waiting in their new costumes to collect as much candy as their hands can humanly manage. I love it. (D'aaawwwww!!)

 

I know I've been skimpy on the posts this past week but I've been busy! Here is the outfit I wore today. The top is shear and perfect for texas weather because its dressy yet breezy all at the same time.  I actually just bought this top from ross and man was it a steal! I only paid $12.99 for it!!

The jeans are an awesome rusty red color which are perfect for fall and I paired it with a studded pair of black heels. I love studs! ;)
